CEOP publish new materials for carers and adoptive parents

CEOP have published new materials for carers and adoptive parents. These materials look at general internet safety messages, alongside additional material covering the specifics risks this group of vulnerable children and young people face online - such as contact from birth relatives. These materials include:
  • Filmed modules - with interviews from practitioners in the field and real life stories from carers and adoptive parents
  • Presentations with notes
  • Factsheets
These materials can be downloaded via the www.thinkuknow.co.uk/teachers/resources area of the website and can be used by professionals supporting adoptive parents and foster carers. Adoptive parents and foster carers can also access guidance and support through the parent/carers section of the Think U Know website: www.thinkuknow.co.uk/parents/  The videos are also viewable from CEOP's YouTube channel via the following links:
