Kent CPD Online is changing!
From 3rd April 2018, EduKent rebranded to The Education People. From July 2018, we will welcome Kent CPD Online to The Education People family, with the full launch of the new KCC Education Services Company “The Education People” in September.
You may recall seeing this message back in May, however we delayed the launch of this functionality as we wanted to make sure it was completely seamless for our customers. We have now addressed a few concerns and updated the site to make sure you have a pleasant and straight forward experience with The Education People and Kent CPD Online.
Current Kent CPD Online account holders will need to use a single sign on to access both Kent CPD Online and the new The Education People site. This means that you will only need to remember one set of login details to access your CPD Online account and to view your online resource, services and relevant newsletters via The Education People.
By doing this, you will be able to update your preferences to make sure you receive email notifications of new blog posts (including monthly and termly newsletters) from any of our service providers.

Please see the attached single sign on procedure notes with a step-by-step guide on how to create a new Education People account and how to merge it with your existing Kent CPD Online accounts.
When logging into your Kent CPD Online account for the first time from July onwards, users will be automatically transferred to The Education People website to create an account. Users should select “Register”. Please note users MUST use an official, individual, school email address to gain access to both the Education People and their CPD Online account.
Once registered the site will take users back to Kent CPD Online where they will be asked to log in using their existing CPD Online username and password. Users will then be asked to select their Kent CPD Online account to enable the accounts to merge. This only needs to be done once.
From then on users should use their school email address and password to access both sites. Users will still be able to change their username and password on My CPD Online or via The Education People site and continue to manage their CPD Online employment details in CPD.
