Keynote speaker Lizzy Yarnold announces retirement from skeleton

Today, Lizzy Yarnold announced her decision to retire from skeleton. The twice gold medalist is an inspiration to children and young adults worldwide, but holds a special place in our hearts.  Brought up in Kent, Lizzy attended Maidstone Grammar School for Girls and is our closing keynote for November's The Education People Show.

Lizzy explained how she's "ready to start a new chapter" and "would like to put a few more things on my CV.  We may be bias, but we think speaking at first newly branded The Education People show is a great place to start! Congratulations to Lizzy on a fantastic career and helping young people to believe that becoming a winter Olympic gold medalist can be more than a dream!

We're really looking forward to welcoming Lizzy on Wednesday 7 November and hope you are too.

There's still time to book your FREE place to the show and select your sessions.  Don't miss out on Lizzy's inspirational speech.
