The Education People Show - Online Safety: What Education Leaders Need to Know

The Education People Show (formerly EduKent EXPO & Conference) is Kent’s leading event for the promotion and development of effective school management, learning & teaching - featuring inspirational keynotes, interactive workshops and a comprehensive exhibition of innovative products and services. The 2018 Education People Show is taking place on the 7th November at the Kent Event Centre at Detling.

Rebecca Avery, Education Safeguarding Adviser (Online Protection), The Education People will be providing a 40 minute session regarding online safety for education leaders. The session will explore the statutory requirements relating to online safety in line with ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ 2018 and 'Inspecting Safeguarding' 2018. It will explore a range of ways for school leaders to develop their online safety practice. The session will share good practice examples from Kent settings and will signpost education leaders to a range supportive resources to enable them to evidence outstanding practice.
