Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) Training for Schools

This course is the first level training for senior staff in schools who are new to the role of designated safeguarding lead (DSL). It will help you meet your statutory responsibilities including those identified in Keeping Children Safe in Education and Working Together to Safeguard Children. The course will also help you understand the processes for making referrals to the Integrated Front Door alongside creating a safer culture for your school. Find out more on what to expect from our Safeguarding training and services page.

We are currently offering DSL training via a face to face course or a virtual Zoom training (two x half day sessions), which can be booked via the Training website.
