A series of half day sessions run across the academic year providing an opportunity for deputy and assistant headteachers to learn and develop new skills through training, networking with colleagues and discussion around current hot educational topics. Participants will have the opportunity to visit different settings and engage in co coaching opportunities. Each session will be framed by an aspect of the Education Inspection Framework.
Hot Topic: What constitutes exceptionality in Personal Development? This training session will identify and explore the ‘drivers’ for the design of an inclusive personal development curriculum which can lead to exceptionality in the offer it provides.
Sharing: Participants will evaluate the unique and inclusive design of their school’s personal development curriculum with colleagues. They will work with colleagues to identify their school’s priorities for enhancement using an audit tool provided.
Collaborating: Participants will plan their third school visit, through further exploration of coaching techniques.
