Brief Overview
This is an update and refresher course for Headteachers, Heads of Establishments and Educational Visits Coordinators (EVCs) that will cover new developments, updated policies, current issues and national good practice guidelines.
It also provides a forum for discussion with fellow delegates on issues relating to managing educational visits and Outdoor Learning.
It is recommended that EVCs attend a refresher Update Course every 3 years.

- Updates on national guidance and good practice on educational visits and adventurous activities.
- Updates to Local Authority policy, guidance and visit approvals.
- Updates and tips for using Kent's EVOLVE online visits approval system.
- Updates on risk management and risk assessments.
- Updates on current issues and new developments.
- Discussions on further development of equal opportunities and inclusion, competence, supervision and leadership.
