Effective Monitoring for Primary English and Maths Leaders

Brief Overview

This course will help to prepare English and Maths Leaders who are fairly new in role, lack much experience of monitoring, or simply want to improve the way they go about evaluating their subject area. It will explore approaches to making monitoring activities both effective, in terms of evaluating the quality of teaching and learning in their core subject area, whilst also making it manageable. Helpful templates will be modelled to guide monitoring activities and enable the information gathered to be collated in a clear and meaningful format.
