Payroll Reconciliation and Workshop - BPS users

Brief Overview

(Demonstration, Questions and Answers. Workshop PM) 

This full day course is for school finance staff who wish to understand how the school’s payroll. The session will also cover how schools are responsible for ensuring that the payroll is checked as part of their financial controls.  There will also be information about the various reports that the system can produce. 

The assumption will be that those attending are finance staff who use FMS6 and have purchased the core finance package which includes the Budget Planning Software. 

• The session will cover
•  
• how to use the Payroll Reconciliation function for validating payroll costs on a monthly, basis
• delegates will be aware of how to use the Budget Planning Software to generate staffing reports suitable for Head teachers and Governors
• A workshop in the afternoon to allow schools to process their own payroll
• questions will be taken.

There will be the opportunity in the afternoon for schools to process their own payroll report using the budget planning software with facilitators available to help with any questions.

Delegates will need a laptop to access the Budget Planning Software (BPS). 

Delegates need to download a copy of the payroll they wish to reconcile into the (BPS) for access on the course.
