Essential Religious Education Knowledge E-learning

One of the issues raised in the latest Ofsted Report Deep and meaningful? The religious education subject report (17 April 2024) was professional development for RE teachers being deemed crucial to maintain a high standard of subject expertise, and that schools need to add depth to their RE curriculum. With that in mind, our Essential RE Knowledge E-learning can help, and provide you with a deeper understanding of Islam, Judaism and the Hindu Faith.

The E-learning modules can be purchased individually, or for greater savings purchase all three together in a package.

Are these modules for me?

These Essential RE Knowledge E-learning modules are aimed at all primary class based staff who deliver Religious Education (RE), (teachers, higher level teaching assistants, teaching assistants, RE leaders), and want to develop their own subject knowledge so they can more effectively deliver RE learning for their pupils.

What should I expect?

The modules are interactive with useful video clips that can then be utilised in the classroom to improve the quality of delivery and engagement in lessons. Each module covers the key aspects of the religion or world view. They will also be of use to anyone in school who wants to know more about specific religious views to support in the classroom. Each module takes approximately one hour to complete.

These modules are also available as part of The Primary School Improvement Training Package. If your school has purchased the Primary School Improvement Training Package, please enter your voucher code at the checkout.
