Carrying out a self evaluation at key points in the year enables SENCOs to have a clear picture of the SEND landscape within their schools and identify priorities moving forward.
This session is for SENCOs and it aims to focus on key elements of a SEND review, from how to analyse the current SEND register to monitoring the quality of interventions. It is also the opportunity for SENCOs to share good practice and reflect on their own setting, considering questions such as: What are the current strengths of the school regarding the support for SEND children? What does inclusive practice look like across the school? How do pupils feel about the support in place?
